Since 2013, dozens of Public Safety organizations in Tulsa, Oklahoma have initiated pedestrian awareness campaigns.

SUGGEST A PUBLIC SAFETY PROJECT WHILE AT WORK. 

TAKE PART IN THE PUBLIC SAFETY ORGANIZATION CHALLENGE

AN AWARE PEDESTRIAN DEFINED

PEOPLE GET KILLED IN CROSSWALKS

According to the 2018 Oklahoma National Highway Safety report, 75% to 100% of the time Crosswalk Fatalities occurs for these reasons.

  • Inattention
  • Distraction
  • Driver Negligence
  • Lighting
  • Dart outs
  • Mid-section crosses
  • Impaired Behaviors
  • Speeding

Our “Aware Pedestrian” healthy citizen platform, PACE TULSA AGS FOUNDATION, hopes to foster the creation of an easily accessible online resource.

THE GOAL OF THIS PROJECT

“Bridge Ideas and Actions,” by applying “think-resource” LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS (LMS) complete with info-graphics; quick-facts; and news that ignites a powerful movement.  

PACE TULSA AWARE PEDESTRIAN is a “Revisionist Movement” with open access for all aware pedestrians seeking to play a vital role in health conscious communities.
