Councilor Cass Fahler is a proud, lifetime resident of District 5. He is a graduate of Victory Christian School and completed professional training through Dale Carnegie. He also studied at Rhema Bible College and Southwestern Christian University. Cass’ proudest achievement is raising a fourth-generation Tulsan, his daughter Isabella, who is bilingual and attends Tulsa Public’s Zarrow International Elementary School.

Fahler brings many years of experience as a Tulsa business leader to the City Council. Recently, celebrating 20 years as a residential lender, Fahler specializes in helping home purchasers obtain the best financing available. He is also a national instructor for the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System. Formerly, Fahler was appointed by Governor Brad Henry to serve as a commissioner to the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit, overseeing all Oklahoma mortgage licensees. He currently serves as a board member of the Oklahoma Association of Mortgage Professionals.

Connection to the community and a desire to give back is what inspired Councilor Fahler to run for office. While on the City Council, he has worked to improve property maintenance issues and help citizens set up neighborhood associations. He meets regularly with all District 5 Neighborhood Associations discussing strategies and initiatives to address crime and other issues. An ardent supporter of public safety, Fahler has participated in more than a dozen police ride-alongs. He also serves on the Citizen Action Group for the Mingo Valley Division of the Tulsa Police Department. The group works with police officers to take a proactive approach to reducing crime and improving quality of life in the community.

“I’m honored to be able to represent and serve the citizens of Tulsa,” Councilor Fahler said. “I’m excited to work alongside our leaders and neighbors to continue Tulsa’s forward progress and to build a safe and prosperous community.”
