The job of a traffic control technician (TCT) is to ensure that pedestrians and automobiles do not interfere with a construction project.
As a TCT, your duties are to direct or divert pedestrian and vehicle traffic to ensure the safety of the workers in the work zone as well as the safety of those passing through.
I'm the Author & Founder of PACE TULSA started in 2013. I’ve created a caudal space, “Intersecting Awareness, because Pedestrian Safety Matters!” Through public education, community outreach, advocacy, and data analysis, the organization empowers pedestrians and drivers to share the road safely.
