Accident involving two vehicles in South Tulsa on 30th and Peoria

At 3:20 p.m. on Sunday, July 23rd, 2023 two vehicles collided on 30th and South Peoria possibly ending in a fatality. This is a developing story.

Story Update: (July 24th, 2023 10:52a.m.)

One person is dead after a head-on crash Sunday afternoon near East 31st Street and South Peoria Avenue.

Tulsa Police said the crash happened at around 3 p.m. when officers said a truck crossed the center line and hit a car. Authorities said the driver of the car was trapped until firefighters arrived on the scene. Tulsa Police said the man died at the hospital

Undercover deputies allegedly find Detroit police commissioner with prostitute in his truck

Officials say that at around 7 a.m. on Wednesday, July 12, deputies with the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office were working undercover in the area of Schoolcraft Road and Sorrento Avenue — an area where they often police drugs and prostitution. That morning, deputies approached a man in a pickup truck who was said to be engaged in a sexual act with a prostitute. The man identified himself as Detroit police Commissioner Bryan Ferguson, officials said.

Aug. 27, 2021.] Stuart Scheller posted his video to Facebook and LinkedIn on Thursday, the day 13 US service members, 11 of them Marines, and reportedly as many as 170 Afghans, were killed in a suicide bomb attack at the airport in Kabul. “I have been fighting for 17 years,” said Scheller, then commander of the advanced infantry training battalion. “I am willing to throw it all away to say to my senior leaders: ‘I demand accountability.’”

The number of U.S. women who died within a year after pregnancy more than doubled between 1999 and 2019, with the highest deaths among Black women, researchers said on Monday.  There were an estimated 1,210 maternal deaths in 2019, compared with 505 in 1999, according to a study published in the medical journal JAMA.
