The FFY 2024 – 2027 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) was prepared by INCOG, the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the Tulsa Transportation Management Area (TMA), under the guidance of the Transportation Policy Committee (TPC) and the Transportation Technical Committee (TTC). It represents a cooperative effort between INCOG and its member governments in the Tulsa area, The Metropolitan Tulsa Transit Authority (MTTA), and the Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT).
The TIP is like a to-do list for transportation projects that need to get done within the next four years. It’s also used to make sure we’re on track with our transportation plans for the area. Anything on the TIP needs to match up with the Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and the Tulsa Metropolitan Area Major Street and Highway Plan (MSHP), so we can make progress towards our overall transportation goals. The TIP is intended to provide technical information that transportation professionals use in a format that is understandable by anyone interested in surface transportation improvements in the region.
